LGTM. Naming wise I 'd say let's do failoid{1,2}001.(eqiad|codfw).wmnet instead of the less obvious tureis/roentgenium that we have now.

The sre.ganeti.makevm cook book manages the RAM size as an int, so I went with 1 G instead of 0.5. I created https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T230712 in case anyone thinks that's worth fixing.
