History merge does not update diff bytes

Description

How to reproduce

Go to Special:MergeHistory and merge two pages of your choosing.

Expected result

The byte difference on the page history is correct for every edit.

Actual result

The byte difference on the page history is incorrect for the edit that comes right after a merged-in edit. The diff remains the same as it was pre-merge. It has not been adjusted for its new neighboring merged-in edit.
