Description

NOTE: The Event Platform Client specification is broken into sections, each section representing a functional unit of software. For more information, see T228177: Event Platform Client Library Specification.

EPC Specification: Identifiers

Create the EPC specification section focused on Identifiers.

An identifier is a string used to associate events to a particular session, pageview, et cetera. This section will lay out rules for formatting and generating identifiers, the properties they must have, their persistence in the clients, and how they should be used in analysis.
