Description

Currently the navigation of Component second-order subsections follow the first-order subsections:

It might seem not perfectly clear to the users and we should consider alternatives such as

Another approach we can consider would be to keep only the left border on the more specific item (answering the "where I am?" question), not the category. That would help to distinguish both without adding additional visual structures that could make the menu more complex.

That sounds like a good intermediate step, it needs more thinking with T237781 altogether.

There is also the option of a flat list where all items are exposed within the Components section that would make this issue go away. This could work with or without the sub-section headings (Actions, Selection, Entry, Display).

@alexhollender I saw your comment above too late, the step proposed by @Pginer-WMF made sense to me and has been merged via https://github.com/wikimedia/WikimediaUI-Style-Guide/pull/300 and deployed.
We need to fix the question on flat vs extra structure level before moving on with further changes.

This is resolved from my point of view. @Pginer-WMF approach is simple and resolves the most confusing issue.
