Hi, As a University teacher I've been giving a Wikipedia class every semester for a few years now. One instance of that class is a tricky one because the cohort of students is very big (they are 178 of them enrolled). You can check the history of these classes here : https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/users/Alexandre%20Hocquet
Every year with that cohort, the most complicated issue is the account creation. I have account creator privileges but the class is online and I cannot create the 178 accounts myself. Worse, the whole Université de Lorraine is being seen outside as a unique IP address (even the campus dorms) . The consequence is that , even with my recommandations of creating an account from somewhere else and not to wait the last minute, the account creation throttle of six a day is overwhelmed. It would be of great help if the IP address could be whitelisted for a few days to help me with account creation. The IP address range is 194.214.218.20/30 and the deadline is the 18th of september, so a whitelisting between now and the 19th of september (or at the very least between the 15th and the 19th) would be ideal. For what it's worth, the students might try to login from the French Wikipedia in all likelihood. Regards,

[operations/mediawiki-config@master] Add new whitelist rule for Université de Lorraine course
Whitelisting until Sept 19 is perfectly fine. I'm going to whitelist you until the end of Sept, so there will be some room for forgetful students :-).

Hi @Urbanecm , I want to thank you again, it worked a treat and it spared me a lot of hassle. I'm already thinking ahead about next semester : do you think it's the proper protocol to re-open the same task at the time of year where it will be needed ? Or a completely new one ?
