For AS 28598 we have already contacted their NOC but so far no answer. The former is interesting:

  • 80.249.208.32 is listed in peering-db, meanwhile 80.249.208.64 is not (leftover/prev-config?)
  • 2001:7f8:1::a501:2871:1 is listed in peering-db, but apparently :2 is used? (again, leftover?)

I think it's safe to delete 28598 if they don't reply to your most recent email.

About 12871 you're correct, or they're migrating something. Best is to ask them, then delete the down sessions if no replies.

This is still alarming, but it should have been removed a while ago.. was it re-added?

Seems like they had 4 sessions in total.
