Closed, ResolvedPublic1 Story Points

Description

Within IBM, we found that we are missing the age data from TargetSmart. We need this info added in order to complete all of our email targeting plans before Q2.

@CCogdill_WMF we have birth_date date (& in some cases deceased_date) - is birth date ok or do you need 'age'

We can use birth_date.

Change 540106 had a related patch set uploaded (by Eileen; owner: Eileen):
[wikimedia/fundraising/tools@master] Add birthdate to targetsmart export

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/540106

I just put up a very simple patch adding it at the end - from memory we don't need to co-ordinate too carefully if we add it at the end.

Format is m-d-Y per other dates (which I might note is probably not the best choice as I could be mis-interpreted by non-US people like erm me)

@CCogdill_WMF we also now have deceased_date - I looked at there is no reference to is_deceased or deceased_date in the export - we probably should filter on it or send up deceased_date too

@CCogdill_WMF - if you are ok to check your end I'll deploy this change tomorrow

Eileenmcnaughton set the point value for this task to 1.

@KHaggard just pinging you about co-ordinating deploying this - we are ready to go

Hey Eileen, my mistake, I thought it had been deployed! We had already put
the import on pause last night so we could import the new data today. Is it
possible to squeeze it into today's import?

OK I just deployed it - I'm not sure what time the import kicks off but next time it does it is included

I'm optimistic we caught it in time :) otherwise we'll try again tomorrow.
Thanks!

@CCogdill_WMF ok so I should be seeing birth_date when setting up the import today or do I manually add that in as a date field?

Never manually add if it's data we're importing from Civi :) You should see
it when setting up the import. If you don't, just hit run on today's import
and we'll try again tomorrow.

Got it - did not see it, so running today's import now and will try again tomorrow.

Cool, we must've missed the cutoff time. Thanks, Katie!

z_birth_date has been added to the recurring import :) Thanks everyone!

Yes, awesome!!

Thank you all so much.
