[BUG] Broken design of captcha-page when publishing on Android
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Hello, attached a video that I recorded while explaining the points.
When I try to publish an edit which contains a link, I'll face following problems on the captcha-page:

  • I cannot go back via upper left button
  • I also cannot go back via the System-UI button
  • I cannot see what I am entering (captcha)
  • Scrolling down to see what I am entering is not possible
  • I cannot click on publish when the captcha is correct
  • Clicking on the link to request an account directs me to enwiki (edit on dewiki), there is Wikidata Q11009153 for that
  • The back-buttons and the button for publishing works after returning from the request-account page

I would like to point out that these errors occur in the current release 2.7.50296-r-2019-09-25!

I cannot upload the file as mp4 or zip or webm because no storage is configured...........

@Charlotte is it possible to upload the Video here on Phab? I think that would be better than on commons (also licensing)

@Der_Keks The normal Phab upload button just worked for me when I tried to upload an MP4. You could also put it on YouTube as an unlisted video.

Exception: No configured storage engine can store this file. See "Configuring File Storage" in the documentation for information on configuring storage engines.

@ABorbaWMF - Can you figure out how to test this? We will have to add triggering a CAPTCHA on editing to our smoke tests, and also it will help us figure out this bug.

@Der_Keks - It seems like that particular filetype is not supported. Perhaps upload as an MP4?

Aha found it! The original MP4-file was larger than 10MB (see T94564) If the file is larger than 10MB it fails with "No configured storage" instead of "File too big"... So after converting it from MP4 to webm and back to MP4 it doesn't look so nice now :(

Edit: 5 MB MP4 with better resolution causes error
