"MediaWiki 1.35 internal error" upon login

Description

  1. Try to login to betalabs.
  2. After clicking on 'Login in' redirects to

https://login.wikimedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:CentralLogin/start?token=ed5772bbf6b429a6ceb9d00f084d496b and the error page is displayed

MediaWiki 1.35 internal error
MediaWiki 1.35 requires at least PHP version 7.2.0, you are using PHP 5.6.99-hhvm.

Supported PHP versions
Please consider upgrading your copy of PHP. PHP versions less than 7.1.0 are no longer supported by the PHP Group and will not receive security or bugfix updates.

I'm getting "There seems to be a problem with your login session; this action has been canceled as a precaution against session hijacking. Please resubmit the form." instead…
