Hi, in latest Wikipedia Alpha app for Android is not included function Nearby with a map. I think, this is a very useful feature and I would like you to include it in to the app. Thank you!

Hi @Patriccck - as we have previously announced in Tech News, we are sunsetting the Nearby feature and it will no longer be included in the app.

For many reasons, including:
- Extremely low feature usage (0.02% of page views came from Nearby)
- Maintenance issues that are out of the Android team's control
- Community concern about the location permissions that Nearby required
These concerns made it infeasible to continue to support the feature.
