Requested name of the mailing list (ending in @lists.wikimedia.org): wikidebate@lists.wikimedia.org
Reasoning/explanation of purpose: Wikidebate project on the English and Spanish Wikiversity has considerable traffic but little interaction. A mailing list could help community-building by making list-members aware of other interested users.

@Sophivorus I just created this mailing list with you as the administrator. I believe you should be emailed a password.

I was not prompted to add a secondary administrator email, so hopefully you can do this from within the mailman

Thanks for the quick response, it works perfectly! I configured the mailing list and added links from the Wikidebate project homepages.
