Support prefixed ID in WikidataCheck-template/module
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

WikidataCheck is a useful tool for bringing together Wikidata and WLM ID-templates on Commons.

It however assumed that the ID used in the template on Commons is identical to the value of the corresponding Propery on Wikidata, which isn't always true.

One common category of IDs where this is the case is that where the same Property is used for multiple types of ID-templates. Most promjnent of these is P2186 (WLM ID).

The ability to set a prefix in the template which is prepended to the identifier before looking for a match on Wikidata would significantly improve the situation.
