Description

Steps to replicate:

  1. Open VE for this page: https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein.
  2. Add a math formula or a chemical formula.
  3. Save the page.

Observe that, the Math/Chemical formula is not rendering on read mode.

@Aklapper after debugging and consultation with @Pchelolo we can not see something one can do from within the math extension.

Ah, thanks. @Pchelolo: Any other project tag applicable, so this task can be seen when looking at a workboard?

matmarex mentioned this in T272733: Review Math strip marker bugs (UNIQ / QINU) that might be fixed by 655884.

Seems to be fixed by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/Math/+/655884. The bug has disappeared after I purged the page:
