I came across a use case for this feature. I'd like to add a search filter for birth and death dates in the Paulina tool. Adding the filter using the Wikdiata query service makes the procedure more complex and slower. It would be great if the WikibaseCirrusSearch haswbstatement keyword supported the datetime data type.
