Ingenico changes to Ideal flow for our roadmap
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

Notice from Ingenico re Ideal:
We have made changes in the way your consumers are redirected to iDEAL, PayPal and SOFORT. This means that the URL the consumer is redirected to in order to finalize the payment, will differ slightly.

The improved iDEAL, PayPal and SOFORT flow can help boost your transaction conversion rate for payments done with these payment products.

What does this mean for you?

The improved flow entails removing some of the redirect steps in the process, thereby delivering a faster and smoother checkout experience for your consumers.

You will no longer see the following statusIDs in WPC for iDEAL, PayPal and SOFORT transactions processed through Ingenico Connect:

• 20 – Pending at merchant

• 25 – Pending at GlobalCollect

• 30 – Pending at GlobalCollect

In the new flow, transactions go directly to status REDIRECTED with statusID 50 in WPC.

Merchants using Connect, should integrate the Connect statuses, instead of the Legacy numeric statuses.

For more information, please see : https://epayments-api.developer-ingenico.com/s2sapi/v1/en_US/json/statuses.html?paymentPlatform=ALL.

When will this change take place?

This change was enabled in our pre-production environment on 14 August 2019.

We will enable this change in our production environment on 1 April 2020.

We hope we have informed you sufficiently, and in case of any additional concerns and, or questions,

please do not hesitate to contact us at Merchantservices@ingenico.com by replying to this email with the reference 05122019.

Kind regards,

Yes, sorry for leaving that off.
