I'm generally wary of installing random applications on my machines. If it produces any useful output, can you just copypaste it here?

@matmarex Most of these accessibility issues largely fail to include some label that will allow screen readers read aloud the content to visually impaired audience. There accessibility bugs are contained but not limited to the toolbar. Scanning for these bugs with any accessibility tool you prefer will reveal most of these issues, best is to reproduce them on your end.

For the record, this is a browser extension developed by Microsoft that runs inside Chrom(e/ium) DevTools, not some random application.

(Off-topic?) If there will be some effort to improve accessibility of Visual Editor, I think Gutenberg accessibility audit might be helpful to identify some issues that might also happen in Visual Editor:

(Thank you for all the tasks you’ve submitted, @Akinwale-microsoft!)

@Akinwale-microsoft I assume all of the patches you've been submitting are based on this report? Thank you for working on this!

JTannerWMF subscribed.

matmarex assigned this task to Akinwale-microsoft.

For context, @Akinwale-microsoft worked on VisualEditor accessibility bugs in 2020, submitting many patches, most of which we accepted: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/q/owner:akalagbe%2540microsoft.com (AFAIK it wasn't coordinated with WMF or anything, they just showed up one day and started contributing).

I think we can close this task now. It looks like the work they had in mind is finished, and this task doesn't have any other purpose. Thanks for working on this!
