use "url-status" instead of "dead-url" on bnwiki
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Currently on bnwiki IABot uses অকার্যকর-ইউআরএল (dead-url), please use ইউআরএল-অবস্থা (url-status) instead.
Translation of it's associated keywords:

  • dead = অকার্যকর
  • live = কার্যকর

so, current

  • অকার্যকর-ইউআরএল=হ্যাঁ (dead-url=yes) will become ইউআরএল-অবস্থা=অকার্যকর (url-status=dead)
  • অকার্যকর-ইউআরএল=না (dead-url=no) will become ইউআরএল-অবস্থা=কার্যকর (url-status=live)

(no need to fix current use, i will do that)

Your CS module doesn't appear to support url-status. IABot automatically adapts to changes made to the CS1 module. IABot is currently reading from https://bn.wikipedia.org/wiki/মডিউল:উদ্ধৃতি/রূপরেখা.

@Cyberpower678 I was actually waiting for this task to finish. I added new parameters to the module, looks like bot started to picking it up.

I have a question: In which order bot reads the module parameter?
In the module, first i added like this: ['dead'] = {'dead', 'অকার্যকর'}. then Bot started to adding like this: ... = dead. Then i changed it to ['dead'] = {'অকার্যকর', 'dead'}. after that Bot started to adding like this ... = অকার্যকর. Here bot added the parameter in English. Is it because in the module it is written as ['UrlStatus'] = {'url-status', 'ইউআরএল-অবস্থা'}? (en parameter then bn parameter)
Thanks.

Order does indeed matter if you have a preference what the default should be. If you would like the bot to use bn language as a preference, you should make it first in the list.
