After unicode 5.1 some Malayalam characters can be written in two different encoding. Our current category namespace uses one such character. We need alias in other encoding also. Current category namespace in pre-unicode 5.1.
So please create an alias for വര്ഗ്ഗം as വർഗ്ഗം

Actually both are same. But one in unicode 5.0 and other in unicode 5.1
Anyway there is a consensus on switching completely to unicode 5.1

This is not the way to create generic namespace aliases. Now something appears to work fine on Wikimedia projects, but if users download their own copy of MediaWiki, it will not work. Please take it out of the WMF config and put it in MessagesMl.php.

Done in r61631. I deployed this rev and removed the aliases from the WMF config.
