I've gotten quotes from 3 insurance company, one gave about 10.000 SEK as yearly cost and two gave about 15.000 SEK as yearly cost.
Should I let our current insurance company know about the updates we need to make and ask them what the total cost will be? Our current cost with them is about 4000 SEK.

The cost will be about 8000 kr (is what they said on the phone), which is less than the quotes we got from other insurances companies. They will send us a new insurance letter. If we have the time, we might want to compare the quotes from the other insurance comanies, to see if they offer something we don't have.
