ahotts_adapter.py contains two rather large lists (1400 lines of code) which would probably be better to have as external (.json?) files. This would both make the adapter easier to follow and make additional abbreviations easier to add.

There would be no problem in moving the abbreviations to an external file. If you are OK with it, I will do it.
