"Suggested articles" should not be there for pages that are not articles
Open, MediumPublic

Description

Issue

In the KaiOS Wikipedia app, it is possible to view pages in other namespaces (Help, Wikipedia, Template, etc). For those, "suggested articles" is probably not relevant. The suggested articles section also contains the footer with content license.

Request

Figure out where to put the footer in this case, or in all cases.

Event Timeline

@SBisson Question - Technically would it be heavy lift if we present Legal footer as a separate section at the bottom of each article which means it's not attached to Suggested Article sections anymore?

It would be simple but that section would need its own header.

Thanks @SBisson , So does something like this can work?

  • When an article has a "suggested article" section then attach the "legal footer" along with it.
  • When an article doesn't have a "suggested article" then attach it with the last item on the article which could be a reference, external links? we might require different visual styling of legal footer in this case.

In both these cases, TOC will have a section to point out.
