namespace=it.wiki - Insertion of the parameter "dataarchivio=xxxx" in the italian template "cita web"
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

namespace=it.wiki - Why to insert the parameter "dataarchivio=xxxx" in the italian template "cita web"?? It's not necessary and redundant, adding no information and useless amount of bytes. That template ("cita web") provides inserting it automatically by reading the url included in the parameter "urlarchivio="! Please stop! Furthermore the date format: "ottobre 18, 2007" is incorrect in italian language (the correct format is "18 ottobre 2007". Please stop two times!

Event Timeline

Even adding "accesso=YYYY" is incorrect, because the link is dead and anyone can access to it

Just to be clear: You want the bot to

  • never add dataarchivio to cita web
  • never add accessso to cita web (which is an information that the bot finds from searching in the article's version history)
  • always use 18 ottobre 2007 as the date format for itwiki

Is that correct?

  • never add dataarchivio to cita web: YEAH
  • never add accessso to cita web (which is an information that the bot finds from searching in the article's version history): Only if it's a dead link (only if "urlmorto=sì" or "urlmorto=si"). PS: It's "ACCESSO", not "accessSo", however...
  • always use 18 ottobre 2007 as the date format for itwiki : YEAH
