I have to say, I only filed this because I have never used Capricorn. For the most part, I've always had a custom implementation of Sagittarius + that later became Archer. I don't know if that could be fixed or not, though?
That's fine as long as people find their way to the script; I'm good with whatever. *shrugs*
Should the name of the tool also be changed? A user running AutoEdits on himself might wonder what Capricon is if he has never heard of it and has always been using Archer.
We could introduce it as a separate tool to Capricorn, but effectively it is the same, correct? I do recognize however that Archer is actively maintained, as opposed to Sagittarius+ which was explicitly replaced by Capricorn. So, I could go either way here.
A similar example is "Rater", which encompasses User:Evad37/rater and User:Kephir/gadgets/rater. They do share the same name, though.
Another option is to rename the entry to "Redirect categorization", so that it is agnostic to what tool is being used. Of course, we need a neutral place to link. What about Wikipedia:Categorizing redirects, where we could list the various scripts?
This has been deployed. It didn't seem we came to a consensus on whether Archer should be listed separately, so I'll leave it bundled with Capricorn for now. This can be changed later if we want to.
