This morning I have 94 notifications coming from one single user.
I've added this user to the muted users list in my preferences (Notifications > Muted users)
Expectation
The notifications from this user are marked as read, hidden or deleted, so that I don't need to handle them
Reality
I have to mark these notifications as read.

Did you add the user to the muted users list after the notifications were sent?
If so, the solution you'd like to see is that adding the person to the muted list would automatically make all previous notifications from that user as read or deleted or otherwise removed from your notifications. Is that correct?

A warning should be added to preferences, though, to avoid unexpected surprises.
