Hello, it is possible to activate the Visual editor in namespace Wikipédia ? Visual Editor is often much easier to use, even for experienced users.

It is possible to activate it in the "Wikipédia" (NS_PROJECT) namespace; some other wikis have done this, including the Catalan and Dutch Wikipedias.
However, it is not possible to disable it on particular pages; you could ignore the problem, or add a banner to the page telling people not to use the visual editor there, or move the pages to a different namespace.

The community does not want the Visual Editor to be activated on the talk pages because of the indentation problems but is favorable to activate it on the rest of the namespace [[Wikipedia:]]
A possible solution would be to deactivate it using the already existing magic word NEWSECTIONLINK, it is already used to add the "Add a subject" button on the discussion pages which are in an odd namespace. Couldn't we add as an effect that it deactivates the Visual Editor? (in any case the modify button?)

Yes, because there is "?veaction=edit" in the url. In the normal url you don't see the buttom "Modifier". This is a workaround that works on every wiki that disabled VE in some places
(I found this task while reviewing some old bug reports)
I wonder if this is still a big concern now, when the reply tool provides a more convenient way to comment on talk pages, and editing the whole page is hopefully needed less often?

It is now possible to enable the visual editor in the Wikipedia:namespace. At pages where discussions happen, and where visual editing is needed, DiscussionTools must be used for discussions.
The visual editor is still not designed to edit or participate in discussions, hence the Editing Team will not prioritize fixing any issue related to VE and talk pages.
