Feature request: add quantity of text to the score calculation
Open, Needs TriagePublic

I read in the extension documentation that the score is calculated as:

(number of unique pages edited) + 2 * square root ((number of edits) - (number of unique pages edited))

This formula completely disregards the quantity of text a user add: so a user that makes the smallest edit to a large number of pages will always have a score higher than the one of other users who contributes to less pages, but with substantial amount of texts.

IMHO this is unfair. First of all I would like to ask if the formula above comes from some MediaWiki or Wikipedia convention or if it was devised by the author on himself.

If there are no constraints, I would suggest to modify the formula in order to take into consideration the length of the edit as well, by counting the number of characters (or maybe words).
