English Wikipedia, links below.
Existing citation included a page number and a link to a magazine on Internet Archive. The bot added a URL to the "Page" field to link directly to the page. The page cited was 6, but the URL linked to page 79.

A similar thing happened with the same magazine on a different Wikipedia page - cited page 7, linked to page 80.

Automated page assertions (opinions) can be error prone in certain works because it is based on OCR extraction and algorithm prediction. It is quite complex and there can be errors, there is ongoing work in this area. We require support from the community to correct errors like this. The error rate is not high, but it is not zero.

We have stopped our book/periodical linking on English Wikipedia.
