It would be great if relevant code project tags could be added to tasks, so tasks could be found without having to know about random WMF teams.
Is this about changes to the MediaWiki-Action-API? Is this about expanding https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Usercontribs ?

REST API endpoints were created for this task. They were then determined to be unnecessary and will be removed as unused under https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/core/+/779917
The code will remain in git should it ever need to be restored. This message is being added to help developers locate that code, if anyone is ever looking for it.
