Always display the lemma and gloss in Sense statements
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

When a Sense is used as a statement value, the lemma and the gloss usually are displayed. However, in certain cases (to be determined), only the S-ID is displayed instead.

Cases where it happens (to be determined and tested):

  • when the linked Sense only contains a gloss in a language that the user doesn't know? (related to babel box?)
  • when there is a fallback language issue?

Example to reproduce:

  • I take a Lexeme with a Sense that only contains a gloss in Basque (eg L270237-S1)
  • In one of the Senses of the sandbox, I add a statement with the property translation and the Sense previously found as a value
  • Once saved, if my user inferface is in English, the statement displays only "L270237-S1". However, if I switch my user language to Basque, I get the Lemma and gloss.
