I'd assume to Phabricator (diffusion) as this task was originally tagged Diffusion.

Removing assignee as this seems like a request, feel free to correct

I also think that user requested moving repository here.

Hi,

a little bit of background: I am an absolute newb when it comes to coding, but wanted to give it a good go. On the German wikipedia, I especially write in the area of tennis and would like to provide some easy to use scripts for some of the more repeating tasks, for example providing a list of the current top 500 tennis players in the world (to see which ones don't have an article yet) or a list of tournament wins by a certain player - examples as provided by my scripts can be seen as follows:

I am currently writing the code locally, but save it on github. I am now looking for an easy way to save my code within Labs or Toolforge to be able to run the scripts from a server and then link with a pywiki instance to write to the subpages of the tennis project on the German or other wikipedias.

It would be most amazing, if there would be the oppportunity to provide input via a web form (as for pet scan), as then fellow writers could run the scripts on demand, e.g. when they need a table with tournament wins for a certain player.

Hope this background provides some hints on what I am trying to do here - please let me know in case I am in the totally wrong direction.

Kind regards,

mad melone

Hi @Mad_melone! Basically see https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Toolforge how to use Toolforge.
There are also tools to mirror a repository from GitHub to Phabricator Diffusion.
So currently I don't see something in this task (yet) which requires someone else's help? :)

Aklapper renamed this task from Move Repository from Github to Move madmelone/wiki-tennis/ code repository from Github.Apr 4 2020, 10:11 AM
Mad_melone claimed this task.

Thanks to @Aklapper I was able to get it done myself. Thanks everybody for helping
