In order to help reduce the rate of unintended recurring donors, sending a brief transaction summary to recurring donors each month would be great. What I'm picturing is a short 'thank you for keeping knowledge free' text (ideally in the donor's preferred language), a summary stating the amount, currency and processing date, and the cancel instructions from the initial (first month's) TY email:

• Thank you, Michael for your $ 1.35 monthly gift, on behalf of a world of people seeking free knowledge.

• If for whatever reason you wish to cancel your donation, follow these easy cancellation instructions.

As a consequence of making this change, we can also probably unbold the sentence "We will send you a summary each January of your contributions for the previous year." in the first month's receipt, as it's less crucial that donors pick up on that the first month.
