MinervaNeue icons in menu should follow same default color `#54595d`
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

Currently, MinervaNeue main menu icons have a darker color, that's not part of Design Style Guide palette, applied, for unclear historic reasons. The main menu labels have Base20 #54595d applied. Base20 should also be consistently used for the icons, not #4A4F53.

Event Timeline

@alexhollender Remember our conversation from December on that confusing non-Style Guide color #4A4F53?

@Volker_E as part of the recent logo work (T246170) the "WikipediA" wordmark on the mobile website will appear black instead of gray (see beta cluster mobile site). I was going to create a task for turning it back to gray, however perhaps we could use this task for that? The only drawback maybe is that we would like to fix the wordmark color rather soon. @alexhollender I'd suggest doing the same thing that we've done for OOUI and icons, using opacity:
The difference is so subtle (compare 0.87 = #222 on background-color: #fff, closest to #202122) that it really doesn't seem worth to change the 100+ wordmark SVGs themselves.
