We should do an audit of the strings marked as translatable in the Library Card platform, ensuring two things:
- All user-facing text is translatable. We've done a good job of this overall but there are definitely some strings lacking translation tags.
- All translatable strings have a helpful Translator comment. Again, we have good but incomplete coverage here.
- Any strings that aren't user facing, such as in the admin interface, are not marked for translation. There's no point in having every translator translate strings that only the TWL team (all English speaking) are seeing. We do, however, need to stay aware of forms that use the help text for a user-facing annotation, such as potentially the application form and user profile update.
