Show "what links here" and context of those links in the editor when creating a page from a redlink
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

⚠️Draft: @ppelberg to finish drafting later

Sometimes when you create an article from a redlink [1], that "redlinked" page has been mentioned elsewhere on the project.

To make the article creation process a bit easier for the now-creator, show the sentences in which that redlinked page has been mentioned elsewhere.

Open questions

In an effort to understand the potential impact of an intervention like this, I am curious to know:

  • The average number of pages red links are included on
  • The number of new articles that are created from red links
    • This metric needs to be made more specific. What I'm really seeking to learn is something like, "How many new articles are created because people happen upon their red links while doing something else?".
