As discussed at Hackathon, we should create starter packs that can be imported into new / small wikis with everything they need to get started on templates & gadgets and have instruction guides.
We should probably cover infoboxes, basic templates (localised?) and popular gadgets.
I will do one for infoboxes later today.

We could also include some examples on how to create Infoboxes like Infobox Place on a guidance page, any idea where would be best in the toolkit to have it.
@RhinosF1 Sounds promising :) Anything we do here to make the process less complicated would bring a lot of value to the wikis! I can look more into this in a day or so and try to test this.
When you say "how to create Infoboxes like Infobox Place", what exactly you mean here? Do you mean something like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Designing_infoboxes or importing infoboxes to another wiki in the same way you are pointing above (with fewer dependencies)?
Something like Help:Desigining_infoboxes but a bit more simplified.
It would show an example wikitext for creating an infobox_* like infobox_place and then show what it would look like on a page. I can spin up a draft somewhere?
