See this discussion. Audio generated using the Score tag does not play on iOS, unlike other Ogg Vorbis files (which are transcoded automatically), because iOS does not have native Ogg Vorbis support.

This might be related to T68722, but I'm not sure if this particular issue occurs only in Safari or in the app as well.
