I love that the time stamp links to the diff, I would make it default everywhere :)

@Samat, timestamps linking to the comment's diff is interesting, especially in the case of unsigned comments. I'm curious: what could you see yourself using this functionality for if it were implemented?

@Lofhi what – if anything – do you find helpful about the {{non signé}} linking to the comment's diff in some cases? One case that comes to mind: verifying the author of an unsigned comment and the time it was posted. Are there others you can think of?

It is useful especially on discussion pages with larger traffic: it is very easy to find out the connection between a text on the page and the item in the page history. Many times it needs some time to find the right diff in the history if I would like to link a specific edit later (even if I know the time stamp: click on the history, next page, next page, not here, next page, looking up which one...). In case they are linked, I need only click on it, or right click + copy link location.

I think that's it. The link to the diff allors us to identify the author, to avoid impersonation.
