When I look at the designate-worker logs, I see it trying to delete a few zones over and over. At first I thought this was because of some oddball zone left over from a transitional period, but arturo just now tried to delete a zone and got things wedged in the same state.

This is probably an upstream bug, but needs investigation nonetheless.
