Find institutional partners that can help us investigate the trust in Wikipedia among media users in Sweden

Description

The two large media surves Mediebarometern and SOM-institutet are two examples of media coverage surveys that does not include Wikipedia. As the site is a major media source, we should put together information about Wikipedia that could be used to show the importance of the site to get it included in these kinds of surveys.

This will also gain WMSE because we will get statistics without doing all the work ourselves. This can then be used for communication purposes.

Mediepanelen is contacted, waiting for reply. The major SOM-institutet survey can be contacted for requests again in January. Still looking into our contacts with IIS in order to come back into the Svenskarna och internet survey.

Is there a possibility to contact SOM-institutet already this autumn to start the preparations? Usually January-March are very hectic with things like the AGM, the projects starting and a lot of reporting deadlines.

@Jopparn as the survey is being carried out during the autumn, it seemed Mediebarometern has a very hectic time at that point. The formal application closed in May this year, which seems to be the case usually. As there is a form to fill out on our own before that, I doubt there is any possibility of preparing beforehand. Is our aim to have enough funding for participating in 2022?
