Description

This task is about revising the transition that occurs in the moment between when a "Reply" link is clicked and the Reply tool appears.

Currently, the Reply tool appears in a way that has been described as "quick" and "abrupt." [1]

  1. "When clicking "Reply", the link suddenly dissappears (which is an unexpected behavior for clicking a link) and the tool interface appears too quickly and abruptly. I would expect that a large element like this would have a fade-in animation." | Source

On the reply button: probably it could be greyed out, like all other reply buttons on page. I think actually this was the case some time ago, not sure why this changed.
