This is strange. For the browse partners page, for example, we have a valid pt-br translation for 'Browse partners': https://github.com/WikipediaLibrary/TWLight/blob/master/locale/pt-br/LC_MESSAGES/django.po#L1646. Instead, however, the pt translation is used (https://github.com/WikipediaLibrary/TWLight/blob/master/locale/pt/LC_MESSAGES/django.po#L1653).

Selecting pt-br in the user profile does select a different language to pt - it's easy to see some of the strings change as you switch - so I'm not sure why some strings update and others don't.

We hope the core issue here (a poorly formatted string starting with a newline) will be identified and addressed as part of T255167.
