Audit processing relies on a directory tree of audit data files in civi1001:/var/spool/audit (which is actually symlinked to a directory on /srv. The audit jobs run once daily, and this directory is synced to the fundraising archive for disaster recovery. If we need to fail the audit jobs over from civi1001 to civi2001 we need to sync that directory first. It should be feasible with a small amount of refactoring to have the archive_sync do the post-audit sync daily. This task is to figure out a reliable way to do this.
