Since the release of the WindowsAzureStorage extension, the underlying blob storage SDK from microsoft has changed.
The extension will need to update to the usage of new SDK

I assume this is about ?
In that case I wonder where ThaiPhan and @Mglaser (listed as extension authors) track their tickets as there is no link on the extension page

I have a patch ready to commit. I actually made a git-based PR a while back before i knew about all the contribution process.

This phabricator task is to get the ball rolling to contribute this change in the proper channel.

We are also contributing another change with this extension that will be track in a separate phabricator task.

Change 608252 had a related patch set uploaded (by Tam-edwin-microsoft; owner: Tam-edwin-microsoft):
[mediawiki/extensions/WindowsAzureStorage@master] azure-sdk: Update to use new azure-storage-blob sdk /608252

Just wondering what is the usual procedure to handle patches for an orphaned extension like this?

Change 608252 merged by jenkins-bot:

@Tam-edwin-microsoft I merged your changes. If you have more stuff that needs to be merged, please feel free to ping me at to speed up things ;)

The patch in Gerrit has been merged. Assuming this ticket should be resolved.
