  • Another person's user talk page [i]

Key concepts and actions

A living list...

PageKey conceptsKey action
Article talk page1. This talk page is "related" to "this," and only "this," article. 2. Editors use this page to discuss this article. 3. Topics of discussion include: how a certain policy ought to be applied, suggestions about improvements that could be made to the article, etc. 4. Discussions do NOT include personal thoughts about the subject ("I thought it was a great movie"), ____ and ____.Watch this page to get track new discussions about this article.
A person's own user talk page1. A place where other editors will write messages directed to you, 2. The other editors who post here will expect you to: a) see the messages they post here and b) respond to the messages they post (when applicable) and 3. "This" (e.g., Echo) is how you will know when you have a new messageTurn on email notifications (or some other action to ensure person is made aware when there is a new message for them)
Another person's user talk page1. A place where you can write messages directed to this other person, 2. You can expect this person to: a) see the messages you post here and b) respond to the messages you post (when applicable) and 3. "This" (e.g. Echo) is how this will know when you have sent them a messageTBD

i. Think more: Are the key concepts of "someone else's user talk page" and "your own user talk page" different enough that they should have unique onboarding experiences?
