Hi! Shouldn't a notification be sent/received only if text is/has been added in the scope of a section or a subsection?
This edit/action is a massive clean up of a user discussion page only consisting in deletion of sections (which are not successive). Nevertheless, it led to all* contributors mentioned (with an internal link) on that page being recipient of as many notifications as the total number of those internal links (still ?) existing in the page, and potentially for very old messages. Not very problematic but useless or disturbing.

Note*: assumption confirmed by the page activity after the edition.

Bug about Echo but doesn't look like a duplicate of T202467. Regards.
