I am trying to get a developer account set up. I went through the set-up process at this link but ran into some issues (see attached screenshot). It might be that my WMF loaner computer is the issue, but I'm not sure?
When you have a moment, could you kindly assist? Thank you!
@RMurthy: You may want to choose another personal UNIX shell username for yourself in that case? (Your personal username is unrelated to any hardware.)
You can fix the issue by removing 'wmf' string from the shell username or alternatively by asking Office IT to create it for you.
As the described behavior is also the expected behavior (given that a blocklist is in place) I am closing this task. You can enter any UNIX shell username that you personally want and which does not contain elements on the blocklist).
