I believe this was done intentionally as part of T169826#3506651 as it was important to show the wordmark on Vector's print mode. I don't think anything has changed there? I'm pretty sure it's been this way for a year or so. I don't see a way to avoid that without reconsidering the product requirement to show a logo that is not in the DOM.
This won't be an issue in the new Vector as the print mode uses the same logo as the non-print mode so maybe we can revisit that earlier decision at some point and not show the wordmark in legacy at all.
We're unlikely to work on this as this is not a problem in the new version of Vector, and our hope by the end of the project is this will serve the majority of our traffic.
Fixed in new Vector. Won't be fixed in old Vector since that will soon not be the default.
