With $wgLanguageCode = "en-gb", Special:CargoTables looks like this:
It is using the wrong languages (multiple, it seems!) for the table headers.

Yes, indeed... strangely enough, these seem to be the actual translations for "en-gb" for these messages:
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/diffusion/ECRG/browse/master/i18n/en-gb.json
This file was created by two edits in April 2020, the first of which added text values in... Swedish or something, the second in what looks like Arabic. I'm guessing that there was some temporary error on Translatewiki.net, and that this file wasn't supposed to have been created in the first place. Can anyone from Translatewiki.net fix the problem?
Oh, weird!
Looks like it's already been fixed, e.g.:
https://translatewiki.net/wiki/MediaWiki:Cargo-cargotables-header-table/en-gb
Oh, yes, just a few days after those translations were made... somehow that didn't lead to this JSON file getting deleted. I guess I could just delete the file myself...
Deletions unfortunately don't really get propagated. I noticed a batch of bad translations and just mass deleted them from twn.
So yeah, just delete the json file
Okay, I just deleted it. My apologies to the British, who no longer get any special treatment.
