In Today's PA / Analytics Eng Retro, we realized that we need a consistent way to notify users of stats boxes about things like upgrades and restarts and maintenance.
We should create a new mailing list, add everyone who is in analytics-privatedata-users, and also add a step to the access request process to add new users to this new mailing list.

We need to update the protocol for data access so people (or SRE?) subscribe users with analytics-private data permits to this e-mail list
I will try but it is difficult now to remind the additional kerberos step (even if it is highlighted in the docs) so I'd say that we'll have to tell people about this list :(
Just sent an email to the mailing lists that I usually use for maintenance announcements, I asked to subscribe to the new mailing list and spread the word :)
