Changes to Citibank International import
Closed, ResolvedPublic2 Estimated Story Points

Description

Finance is making some changes to the Citibank International reports. Instead of just original currency amounts, they will include details of the transactions with the original currency amount and the USD amount (after the conversion). I'll provide the template once we receive it from Finance.

Thanks!

Event Timeline

Hi, I received the sample report in the new template structure from Finance and added it to the server under Citibank - September 2020_New template.

Posted Dt. = Date Received
Doc = Transaction ID
Curr = Original Currency
Txn Amt = Original Amount
Debit = USD Amount

Please disregard Credit and Balance columns. They aren't needed. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks so much!

Hi, I just want to see where we are with the import changes. I just received the September donation report for import. Let me know if that would be helpful to provide. Thanks!

Hey sorry. We didn't get this in last sprint. We will try again next week.

DStrine set the point value for this task to 2.

@LeanneS I just realised there is a question here - we have a citibank import & my initial assumption was this updates that - but it occurs to me that the

Citibank International reports may not be the same as the USD ones & the existing import may need to be unchanged for USD?

Also - this is the 'Citibank Individuals' import?

@LeanneS OK - I've put what I think is wanted onto staging as an update to 'Citibank Individuals' import

I went with this for the dates

'Posted Dt.' => 'settlement_date',
'Doc Dt.' => 'date',

If you test it & let me know....

Thanks @Eileenmcnaughton! Confirming that it is the Citibank Individuals import. I'll test today and let you know how it goes.

@Eileenmcnaughton Just tested it out and received this error: Import error: INVALID_FILE_FORMAT This file is missing column headers: Entry Date, Amount, Bank Reference, Currency, Posted Time Source: array ( )

@LeanneS did you test on like or staging - it seems OK for me on staging...

Sorry I thought this was on production. I'll check staging.
